Responsibilities:


The primary responsibilities for our Lot Attendant will be to:

  • Calculate time it takes to complete a specific job and verify appropriate parts are used and that labor recorded on R.O.
  • Close C/P paperwork booking parts and labor accurately with provided estimates.
  • Assist Warranty Administrator with daily sales compliance review and self-compliance review.

  • Assist in review of warranty claims returned and/or rejected and prepare the repair order for resubmission.
  • Help provide cash estimates for labor for technicians and service advisors.
  • Act as a liaison between technicians and service advisors.
  • Ensure the corresponding parts, labor, and applicable charges are billed out on the repair order
  • Verify appropriate documentation is attached and completed
  • Code claims in accordance with dealership and/or factory standards
  • Pre-invoice repair orders once booking is confirmed and ready while still meeting customer deadlines

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous retail and/or customer service experience
  • Point-of-sale (cash register) and credit or debit card processing skills
  • Strong math skills and the ability to handle financial transactions rapidly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of automotive servicing or repair highly desired
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance
  • Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
  • Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly trustworthy and security conscious
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills
